Stellar start for defending Champion

FIA World Rallycross Championship 2015 is in full swing and after the first two rounds, reigning Champion Petter Solberg is in the lead, 15 points ahead of Johan Kristoffersson. When Petter took second place in the first round, it was a welcome confirmation that Petter, his car and the private team's work still hold up very well in the competition against the much bigger factory teams – and this was further confirmed in the second round, where Petter very skillfully won before 75,000 wildly cheering spectators.

High quality tools and smart storage solutions are two key factors that contribute to efficient work, both in the pit and in the workshop, and it is with great pleasure and pride that Teng Tools continues the successful cooperation with Petter and his team. For this season, Teng Tools and the team have also worked closely together to develope a unique service station for the pit. There, mechanics and engineers have everything they need, exactly where and when they need it, which saves valuable time during and between races. Petter, who knows the importance of having the right thing in the right place, says that the new, efficiently organized pit tent is a key factor when it comes to ensure that they have a winning car in each of the 78 heats in the World Championships. The service station has already received a lot of attention, both at the track and in social media.

Last year, Petter won five rounds and took an additional four podium finishes. This year, the opponents are aiming for revenge and the skills and ambitions are higher than ever. Both Petter and the team know that it will take more than just repeating last year's achievements to defend the World Champion title. They’re ready though. The car is the same as last season, but they've been working hard on enhancing both the car and the work methods throughout the winter break.

On May 15th-17th, the third round will take place, this time at Circuit Jules Tacheny in Belgium. Petter and his team expect a continued fierce competition, but they have their sights set on showing, one race at a time, what the right conditions in terms of thorough preparations, a hand-picked world class team and a skilled driver who loves to compete – and win! – can achieve when the second World Rallycross Champion title awaits.
